Every morning 6am, the earliest person who starts working is uncle Xi Lun. He has been here for 24 years,
never ever complaint about his job. He spent half of his lifetime at Kelong. He does not have a home or even
a family but Kelong is his only home.When he was young, he was a crazy fishing fan. No matter how huge the
waves were, he would not leave the sea in order to fishing.
There was a story that traced in uncle Xi Lun's history. In the past 20 years, there was a 10 meters high
waves hit Kelong. That night, uncle Xiong had a feel of anxiety and he told uncle Xi Lun to leave Kelong
with him but he refused. However, uncle Xiong dragged uncle Xi Lun to leave together. The next day, they
went back to Kelong but nothing was left except for few pinang woods. Fortunately, uncle Xiong did not
leave behind uncle Xi Lun at Kelong. Otherwise the consequence will be very serious.
Until today, such a huge waves have never been to Kelong again. Maybe the climate has become more stable.
